Certified Professional Coder (1-26-2012)

Galichia Medical Group is seeking a hardworking full time, certified coder skilled in data entry, assigning diagnosis codes and denial follow up.  Coding experience in multi-specialty E & M, procedures and tests is critical.  Holding a current CPC certification is required.  We offer highly competitive wages and full benefit package upon hire.  If interested, please fax your resume to 316-858-2524.

Medical Record Tech (1-26-2012)

A multi-task position in a fast paced office.
Responsibilities will include numbering paperwork, pulling charts, routing and delivering to correct locations;
locating charts for outside departments;
reviewing charts;
thinning charts;
filing paperwork into charts;
answering telephones;
using computer check in/out system, scanning and other duties as assigned.

Position may require frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping
and grasping. Requires lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and
pulling or pushing up to 50 pounds.
Must be detail oriented and willing to take on multiple tasks.
Professionalism and maturity are expected.

BENEFITS SUMMARY

HEALTH/PRESCRIPTION/EYE EXAM BENEFIT & DENTAL INSURANCE

Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance is available for full-time employees effective the first of the month following their hire date. GMED.offers a health plan that includes prescription drug coverage and one eye exam per participant per year. Insurance deduction occur each pay period.

FLEX  VISION PLAN

.To help offset additional costs related to vision coverage, fulltime employees are eligible to purchase additional coverage for up to $150 per covered person

DEPENDENT CARE AND MEDICAL SPENDING ACCOUNTS

Employees may set aside pre-tax dollars in a Dependent Care Spending Account to be used for qualifying childcare expenses and/or day care for dependent adults up to $5,000 per plan.

Full-time employees may set aside pre-tax dollars in a Medical Spending Account to be used for a wide range of out-of-pocket health care expenses up to $2500 per plan year.

EMPLOYEE MEDICAL CARE REIMBURSEMENT

Full and part-time employees and their immediate family members are able to receive reimbursement for medical care provided by Galichia Medical Group providers.

LIFE INSURANCE

Full-time employees are provided term life insurance equal to one times their base salary. This coverage is provided at no cost to the employee. Supplemental term life insurance is also offered to full-time employees.

VOLUNTARY SHORT TERM AND/OR LONG TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE

Short term and /or long term disability insurance is offered to all full-time employees the first of the month following hire date.

PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

All part-time and full-time employees will accrue time to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick days. Accrual rates are dependent upon status of position and length of employment.

401K PLAN

A 401(k) plan is available for all eligible employees on their first day of employment.  Under the 401(k) plan, full-time employees can elect to contribute up to 25% of their annual salary, subject to IRS limitations.  

HEALTH CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Through employment at GMED, employee are eligible for membership discount at the YMCA and Genesis Health Clubs.

SAM'S CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Galichia Medical Group employees will receive $10 off their Sam's Club membership.
