Brian L. DeBrot, MD, a Wichita native, completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Wichita State University. He earned his medical degree in 1998 from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in both internal medicine and pediatrics. Prior to joining the Galichia group, he started a hospitalist practice at Wesley Medical Center. He has also won teaching awards as a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, where he is a volunteer teaching faculty member.

Dr. DeBrot is board certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Medical Society of Sedgwick County.
