April Peterson, PA-C graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Kansas State University. Then in 1999 she graduated from Wichita State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She has clinical experience in cardiology, family practice, emergency medicine, and women’s health. Before joining Galichia Medical Group, she spent 4 years in Sublette, Kansas in a family practice/acute care setting. Professional associations include Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants. One of April’s most memorable moments of her career came in the Spring of 2003 when she participated in her first medical mission trip to Acuna, Mexico. At home, she enjoys playing the piano and walking her dog.
