Mike Shaw is a graduate of Wichita State University with an Associate of Arts in Respiratory Therapy and has a Bachelor of Health Science as a Physician’s Assistant. He has completed coursework towards a Masters of Public Health in Preventive Medicine with a minor in Administration. Mike worked at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado, Kansas, as a clinical director and assistant administrator. Afterward, he founded Optimal Functioning Inc., dba Life Center, a first of its kind Wellness Clinic in Wichita, Kansas. Following that, he implemented the same preventive medicine and wellness concepts in two athletic facilities in Wichita, The Club Olympiad and Wichita Workout and Racquetball Club. Mike’s professional societies include the American Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Society of Prospective Medicine, the American Association for Respiratory Care and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
