Christie Yourdon, MSBS, PA-C is a Kansas native who was born in Lawrence and moved to Wichita in 1992. She was a student in the International Baccalaureate program at Wichita East High School then went on to study Pre-Med and Psychology at the University of Kansas where she received a Bachelor of Arts. She then pursued her graduate degree at The Medical College of Ohio in Toledo (now a part of the University of Toledo) where she received a Master of Science in Biological Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduation, she was hired on at the Medical College Hospital as a Surgical Physician Assistant in the Division of Liver, Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation and Surgical Oncology. In 2005, she moved back home to Wichita and started practicing in Cardiology where she developed a special interest in congestive heart failure management and CRT therapy. In 2009, she decided to take a few months off to invest more time and attention to her husband and three young children and just recently joined the health care team at Galichia on a part time basis. In her spare time, Christie enjoys hiking, camping, reading and traveling.
